Possible malfunctions of the EPHH system, their reason and ways of their elimination

Control system of the economizer of compulsory idling (ECI)
Features of a design
The EPHH system serves for increase in profitability of operation of the engine and decrease in level of toxicity of the fulfilled gases. As on engines of fashion. 331 and 2106 install carburetors of one type – "Ozone", their EPHH systems are structurally identical and differ only with the device of pneumatic valves of carburetors (see. "Power supply system") and type of the control units having different characteristics (for the engine of fashion. 331 use the control unit 252.3761, fashion. 2106 – 25.3761 or 2533.3761).

The device and work of the EPHH system are considered on the example of the engine of fashion. 331. The system contains the control unit 4 (fig. 7.42), the electromagnetic valve 5, the microswitch 3 and connecting wires. Besides, the pneumatic valve which is built in the carburetor 7 is a part of system.
The principle of work of EPHH is that on the modes of compulsory idling supply of fuel in the engine is turned off (when the pedal of management of a butterfly valve is released, and the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft is higher than frequency on the idling mode). The pneumatic valve 7 EPHH which is a part of the carburetor turns off fuel supply. The electromagnetic valve 5 which is operated in turn by the control unit 4 and the microswitch 3 operates a pneumatic valve.
When checking pay attention to a condition of contact connections of all knots of system, their violation can cause interruptions in operation of the engine.

The EPHH control unit of 252.3761 type (fig. 7.43) continuously controls the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft of the engine, measuring the period of repetition of impulses of system of ignition which are removed from the coil of ignition and "4" blocks 4 move on a conclusion (see fig. 7.42). With a frequency of rotation of a bent shaft, less than 1245 мин-1±5% (1140 мин-1±5% for blocks 25.3761 or 2533.3761) current moves on conclusions "1" and "2" blocks and passes through a winding of the electromagnetic valve, passing the microswitch. At increase in frequency of rotation till 1500 мин-1±5 electric communication of conclusions "1" and "2" is broken off by % and again is restored only at decrease in frequency of rotation of a bent shaft of the engine up to 1245 min.-1 (1140 min.-1).
Check of the EPHH control unit
The control unit is checked on the car. On the mode of idling remove the plug from one of microswitch conclusions. Smoothly opening a butterfly valve, increase the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft over 1500 min.-1 and record this situation. At the same time there has to be self-oscillatory power setting which is followed by a rotation frequency pulsation.
Emergence of the self-oscillatory mode is explained by the fact that at increase in frequency of rotation up to 1500 min.-1 electric link of conclusions "1" and "2" blocks is broken (the power-supply circuit of the electromagnetic valve via the microswitch is broken forcibly off) that causes shutdown of supply of fuel in the engine. At the same time the frequency of rotation decreases and after its falling lower than 1245 min.-1 (1140 min.-1 for blocks 25.3761 or 2533.3761) the specified communication is reestablished, i.e. supply of fuel is resumed and the frequency of rotation increases.
This process cyclically repeats with the period of 1-2 pages.
If it is not possible to cause the self-oscillatory mode, and the electromagnetic valve and a pneumatic valve of EPHH have no defect, then the control unit is faulty and it needs to be replaced.
It is possible to check the control unit, directly controlling on a tachometer of frequency of rotation at which there is an operation of the block.
The control lamp of 12 V and wire with shtekerny tips is necessary for check.
Consistently disconnect from the microswitch the plug of a gray wire (+12 V), and from a conclusion of the electromagnetic valve – the plug with a double pink wire. Put on the plug disconnected from the microswitch that will provide passing of current through a winding of the electromagnetic valve the released conclusion of the electromagnetic valve. Connect one conclusion of a control lamp to the plug removed from the electromagnetic valve, connect other conclusion of a lamp to "mass" of the car.
On the mode of idling (850±50) min.-1 the control lamp has to burn. At increase in frequency of rotation till 1500 мин-1±5% the lamp has to die away and again light up when falling frequency of rotation lower than 1245 min.-1 ±5% (1140 мин-1±5% for blocks 25.3761 or 2533.3761).
After check install the removed plugs into place.

The microswitch of 421.3709 type (fig. 7.44) influences the electromagnetic valve besides the control unit.
In a starting position contacts of the microswitch are closed. At completely released pedal of management of a butterfly valve the pusher of the microswitch is drowned and its contacts are opened. When pressing a pedal the pusher of the microswitch is released, its contacts become isolated, and current at the same time passes through a winding of the electromagnetic valve irrespective of the control unit.
Check of the microswitch
The microswitch is checked on the car. On the mode of idling remove the plug of a pink wire released a conclusion of the microswitch from a microswitch conclusion connect to one of conclusions of a control lamp, its second conclusion – with "mass" of the car. In this mode the lamp should not burn.
Watching a control lamp, smoothly increase the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft, having opened a butterfly valve. The control lamp has to light up until emergence of self-oscillatory power setting.
If the control lamp burns already on the idling mode (early adjustment of operation of the microswitch) or lights up after emergence of the self-oscillatory mode (late adjustment), adjust installation of the microswitch. For this purpose weaken two screws of fastening of the microswitch and, having picked up its new situation, tighten fastening screws.
If the control lamp does not light up at any provision of a butterfly valve, then the microswitch is faulty.
After check install the removed plug into place.

       NOTES
1. Early adjustment of operation of the microswitch reduces overall performance of EPHH to total loss of effect (when contacts of the microswitch are closed at completely released accelerator pedal). Late adjustment of operation of the microswitch leads to breakthroughs of the car at the movement at a small speed, in particular at slow driving by a backing. Therefore you seek to install the microswitch on perhaps late operation, without allowing emergence of the self-oscillatory mode. About operation of the microswitch judge by characteristic clicks.
2. The simplified adjustment of position of the microswitch at which achieve operation of the microswitch within a free wheeling of the mechanism of the drive of a butterfly valve of the first camera of the carburetor is allowed.

The electromagnetic 19.3741 or 1902.3741 valve (fig. 7.45) serves for management of EPHH pneumatic valve in the carburetor.
The electromagnetic valve has three unions and two locking elements. The first locking element 7 is executed by normally closed and serves for dissociation of the central union 6 (connected to the inlet pipeline of the engine) with the inclined union 5 (connected with EPHH pneumatic valve union); the second locking element 4 is executed by normally open and serves for dissociation of the specified inclined union with the atmospheric union 1 closed by the felt filter and located between electric conclusions of the 10th winding of the 9th valve.
When passing current through a winding of the electromagnetic valve central and inclined the union pneumatic are connected, and in the absence of current thus are connected inclined and atmospheric the union. Depression from the inlet pipeline is transferred in the first case to EPHH pneumatic valve that provides intake of fuel-air mix through system of idling in the engine, and in the second case the pneumatic valve of EPHH blocks its giving.
Check of the electromagnetic valve
The electromagnetic valve is checked on the car. On the mode of idling remove the plug therefore the engine has to stop during 1–2 pages from one of valve conclusions. If it did not occur, then be originally convinced of serviceability of a pneumatic valve of EPHH. If the pneumatic valve of EPHH has no defect, then the electromagnetic valve is faulty and needs replacement.
After check do not forget to install the removed plug into place.

At the switch of ignition of type 2108-3704 check correctness of short circuit of contacts in various provisions of a key (tab. 7.3), operation of the anti-theft device and device of blocking of repeated inclusion of a starter.

The scheme of connections of the switch of ignition is shown in fig. 7.46.
The locking core of the anti-theft device has to move forward if to establish a key in situation III (parking) and to take out from the lock. After turn of a key from situation III in situation 0 it (is switched off) a locking core it has to utaplivatsya. The key has to be taken out from the lock only in situation III.
The device of blocking of repeated inclusion of a starter should not allow double turn of a key from situation I (ignition) in situation II (starter). The key has to turn repeatedly only after preliminary return of a key to situation 0.
Removal, dismantling, assembly and installation
1. Disconnect a wire from the - plug of the rechargeable battery.
2. Remove a facing casing of a steering column and disconnect a block of wires of the switch of ignition from a plait of wires of the dashboard.
3. Insert a key into the lock of the switch of ignition and turn it in situation 0.

4. Turn off bolts of fastening of a bracket of 1 (fig. 7.47) of the switch.
5. Remove a bracket and the switch of ignition.
6. Disconnect wires from a block.
7. Check that the key was in situation 0, and unscrew the screw of fastening of the lock 5.
8. Drown the fixing pin of B and take out the lock with a contact part 3 of the case 2.
9. Unscrew the screw of fastening and disconnect a contact part from the lock.
10. Remove plastic facing 4.
Collect and install the ignition switch upside-down.

Understeering switch
Features of a design
The understeering switch consists of the connector fixed on an arm of a shaft of the steering mechanism, and two switches installed in a connector. The left switch includes indexes of turn and light of headlights, right – cleaners and washers of glasses.
Replacement
1. Remove a facing casing of a steering column.
2. Squeeze two latches of the switch and take out it from a connector.
Switches are non-demountable, and at failure they should be replaced.

Provisions of levers of switches at inclusion of various consumers are shown on fig. 7.48 closed at the same time contacts – in tab. 7.4.

Relay of inclusion of headlights
The relays of 113.3747 type installed in the assembly block are used to inclusion of headlights. The same relays are used also to inclusion of a sound signal, heating of back glass, the electric motor, the fan of the cooling system of the engine and fog lights.
Tension of turning on of the relay at a temperature (23±5) °C makes no more than 8 V, winding resistance – (85±6) Ohms. The relay of inclusion of headlights is not subject to repair.

Relay breaker of indexes of turn and alarm system
The relay breaker of 43.3747 type installed in the assembly block serves for creation of a faltering light signal of indexes of turn. The relay breaker ensures also functioning of indexes of turn in
mode of the alarm system. Besides, the device allows to control serviceability of lamps of indexes of turn. So, if one of lamps of indexes of turn fuses, then the frequency of inclusion and switching off of indexes of turn doubles. The control lamp of indexes of turn at the same time also blinks with the doubled frequency.
The relay breaker has to provide a blinking of lamps of indexes of turn with a frequency (90±30) cycles in a minute at the ambient temperature from-40 to +65 °C and tension of 10,8-15 Century. The relay breaker is not subject to repair.

Possible malfunctions of a screen wiper of a windshield, their reason and ways of elimination

Windshield screen wiper
Features of a design
On the car the 2-speed screen wiper 2126-5205 with the drive from the three-brush electric motor of a direct current with excitement from permanent magnets with a reducer is established (a motor-reducer 17.3730). The reducer is equipped with the self-stop mechanism. On an arm of a screen wiper the thermobimetallic safety lock of PR502A calculated on the maximum current of operation 7,5 A is fixed.

The electric circuit of inclusion of a screen wiper of a windshield is shown in fig. 7.49.
Repair of a screen wiper consists mainly in editing of the deformed drafts and levers of lever system or replacement with their new. The faulty electric motor is recommended to be replaced new.
After installation of the new electric motor check its work before connection of drafts of a screen wiper.

Removal and installation
1. Disconnect a wire from the - plug of the rechargeable battery.
2. Separate shtekerny blocks of the electric motor and a plait of wires.
3. Remove brushes with levers.
4. Remove decorative caps and turn off nuts of axes of levers.
5. Remove plastic slips (rings).
6. Turn off two bolts of fastening of an arm of a screen wiper to a body.
7. Take out a screen wiper.
Establish a screen wiper upside-down, previously having greased the rubbing surfaces of fingers of leads and a crank with plastic lubricant. At installation of levers with brushes be convinced that the provision of leads corresponds to a starting position of a screen wiper.

Features of a design
The electric motor 45.3730 of a direct current with excitement from permanent magnets is installed in the airsupercharger of the car. He brings the krylchatka of the fan of the airsupercharger got on an electric motor shaft into rotation. For change of frequency of rotation of an anchor of the electric motor in the electric circuit of inclusion the additional resistor 17.3729 installed on a car front board is provided.

On the car the ME 272 electric motor (fig. 7.50) of a direct current intended for the engine cooling system fan drive is installed.
The electric motor turns on the TM 108 sensor in a radiator tank via the relay of 113.3747 type installed in the block of safety locks and the relay. Temperature of short circuit of contacts of the sensor (99±3) °C, disconnections – (94±4) °C.
The electric motor is not maintainable, and in case of any malfunction it is replaced.

The electrowarmed back door glass
Features of a design
For prevention of fogging and frosting the tempered glass established at back doors is executed with an electrical heating.

Repair
Possible defects of the electrowarmed glass are the lead of plugs and destruction of electric heating elements on glass.
1. Torn off the plug solder a low-power electric soldering iron usual solder with the small content of tin. Fastening of the soldered plugs to tires has to maintain the load of 80+5 N (8+0,5 kgfs) enclosed to the center of the soldered part of the plug in the direction, perpendicular the surfaces of glass during 5 pages.
2. Define breaks of elements of heating by a sampler tester like "TEST" (or other type) supplied with an electric lamp. For this purpose connect two wires of the device by means of clips to current-collecting tires or plugs of system of an electrical heating. In the absence of instrument reading move the third contact wire across each heating element on the center of glass. The lit-up bulb indicates break in system of an electrical heating.

Adjustment of light of headlights
1. Check and regulate light of headlights on the equipped car: with completely filled fuel tank, a set of the tool and a spare wheel.
2. Previously check and if necessary bring to norm air pressure in tires.
3. Install the car on the flat horizontal platform perpendicular to a smooth wall (for example, a garage) at distance of 5 m. Put additional freight weighing 75 kg on the driver's seat. Mark on a wall the screen, as shown in the figure 7.51. The longitudinal plane of symmetry of the car has to pass across the line 0 on the screen. Measure height of the centers of headlights to a floor. It will be h distance on the screen.

4. If the arrangement of light spots on the screen does not correspond to the drawing, open a cowl and adjust screws of manual adjustment of a beam of light of 1 (fig. 7.52) in the horizontal plane and 4 in the vertical plane the provision of a light spot for each headlight on the screen. Regulate the provision of a light spot for each headlight separately. During adjustment close the second headlight opaque material.

5. Light of headlights is considered adjusted if the upper bound of the left parts of light spots coincides with the line 4 (see fig. 7.51), and vertical lines 1 and 2 pass through points of E1 and E2 of crossing of horizontal and inclined sites of light spots.

Electromechanical proofreader of headlights
The electromechanical proofreader of light of headlights is intended for adjustment of a beam of light of light of headlights depending on car loading.
It consists of the control unit 3 (fig. 7.52), two electric drives installed through laying 1 on the right and left headlights and connecting wires.
Installation of the handle of management 5 in provisions 1-3 on a scale 6 provides operation of electric drives 2 which the spherical head on the end of rods influence headlights, turning them on a certain corner. Electric drives 2 and the control unit 3 are not subject to repair, at damage they should be replaced with new.
Electric drives are removed, turning a little and pulling together them from clamps.
Check of work of the proofreader is carried out at the BI7714-4130 stand.
The rated load on a rod which is put along a rod axis makes 40 N, the maximum load – 80 N.
Time of movement of a rod of the electric drive in another has to make no more than 20 pages of one extreme situation.
The current consumed by the electric drive without movement of rods has to make no more than 50 мА, and when moving rods (operating mode) – no more than 1 And.
At the recorded rod the electric drive has to keep working capacity within 5 min. The time between failures makes not less than 20 000 cycles.
Besides, on the Izh-2126 cars the arrangement of loudspeakers 2 (fig. 7.52) is changed: before them established in arms of the back shelf of a luggage carrier, now by means of screws 4 fix in forward doors.

1. Turn the protection cover 6 (see fig. 7.53) closing the headlight case from a motor compartment, counterclockwise against the stop and remove it.
2. Disconnect a block 5 from lamp plugs.
3. Bring out of gearing with reflector grooves short moustaches of a spring latch 3 holders of a lamp.
4. Take out a lamp.

       PREVENTION
When replacing a lamp of head light be careful and do not touch by lamp glass fingers that on it there is no fatty trace left. If such traces on a lamp are, then remove them with the fabric moistened with alcohol. It needs to be made because in headlights halogen lamps at which the flask heats up to high temperatures are applied, and fatty traces will lead to darkening of a flask and a bystry exit of a lamp out of operation.

5. Establish a new lamp upside-down.
6. For replacement of a lamp of dimensional light take out a cartridge 7 of the rubber plug, having pulled it on themselves. Then, having accurately pressed a lamp flask, turn it counterclockwise and take out a lamp from the boss. Establish a new lamp upside-down.
Lamps of forward indexes of turn and back lamps
1. Open a cowl, turn a cartridge with a lamp of the forward index of turn counterclockwise against the stop and take out it from a nest. Take out a lamp from the boss. Establish a new lamp upside-down.
2. For replacement of a lamp in a back lamp uncover a lamp from the luggage compartment. Then, having wrung out a finger two elastic elements located in the lower part of a cover in special deepenings take out a cartridge with a lamp. Replace a lamp and establish a cartridge and a cover in the return sequence.
Lamp of the side index of turn
1. Remove the protection cover of a forward wing (see. "Repair of a framework and hinged knots" bodies).
2. Take out from a lamp from a wheel niche a cartridge with a lamp assembled, previously having removed a protective cap.
3. Take out a lamp from the boss.
4. Establish a new lamp upside-down.

Illumination of registration plate is carried out from two lamps of 1 (fig. 7.54) established in a slip 3 doors of a back. For replacement of lamps of lamps of illumination of registration plate unscrew screws 7, remove the lens of a lamp and replace a lamp with serviceable.

The plafond of illumination of salon is established in a middle part of an upholstery of a ceiling. The plafond of illumination of a luggage carrier on a design same as plafond of illumination of salon, is also established in a back part of an upholstery of a ceiling. For replacement of a faulty lamp accurately on the center on lateral face of a plafond opposite to the switch, insert the screw-driver into a groove on the lens of a plafond, slightly wring out a plafond, overcoming resistance of the spring holder of 5 (fig. 7.55), take out it from a nest. Take out a lamp. Establish a new lamp upside-down.
Lamp of a lamp of illumination of a ware box
1. Open a door of a ware box.
2. Insert the screw-driver under the holder of a lamp and, having accurately wrung out, take out the holder from a nest.
3. Having wrung out hooks, take out a lamp from the holder.
4. Having pressed a hook of the lens, bring the lamp basis out of gearing with the lens.
5. Take out a lamp.
6. Establish a new lamp upside-down.

Sound alarm system
Features of a design
On the car the bezruporny noise sound signal of type 20.3721 consisting of the electromagnetic coil with the core and a mobile anchor with the membrane attached to it is established.
When current proceeds on the coil, the anchor is attracted to the core and the membrane caves in. At the same time there is a disconnection of contacts, the coil of an electromagnet is cut off power, the anchor under the influence of the elastic force of a membrane comes back to a starting position, closing contacts of the breaker. As this process periodic, there are fluctuations of a membrane. Tone height depends on the frequency of fluctuations.
Sound signals are characterized by the level of sound pressure (in decibels) and spectral structure of a sound.
At a signal 20.3721 levels of sound pressure of 105-118 dB, the main frequency of exciting fluctuations (420±30) Hz, the consumed current no more than 5 And, weight no more than 0,33 kg.
For an exception of influence of mass of the car on the made sound the signal is fixed on a special spring.
Adjustment and service
Regularly clear a sound signal from pollution and check a condition of electric connections.
At emergence of rattle and decrease in volume of sound adjust sound intensity of a signal. Regulate a signal turn (no more than on one turn) the screw located on its back wall. At the same time the gap between contacts of the breaker changes. Check a signal, having connected it via the ampermeter to the rechargeable battery. Sounding of a signal has to be loud, without jingle, and force of the consumed current should not exceed 5 A.
Tone of a sound, loudness of a signal and force of the consumed current depend on the size of an air gap between an anchor and the core which is provided with selection of laying between the case and a membrane, and also from gap size between contacts. For cleaning of contacts of the breaker sort a signal. At its assembly it is important to keep an initial gap between an anchor and the core of an electromagnet. Therefore laying between the case of a signal and a membrane is recommended be not to replaced, it is necessary to clear it of dust and dirt only.

The scheme of connections of a combination of devices is shown in fig. 7.57. Elements of a combination of devices are given in tab. 7.5. The combination of devices has two 13-contact connecting blocks "X 1" and "X 2". Addresses of contacts of these blocks are given in tab. 7.6.

Description of a combination of devices 346.3801
The combination of devices is intended for processing and display of information on functional and technical condition of knots, units, systems and parameters of the movement of the cars operated in the conditions of temperate and tropical climate at a temperature of air from +45 to -40 °C and relative humidity of 90% at 27 °C.
The combination of devices is calculated on work in a chain of a direct current with a rated voltage of food of 12 Century.
The combination of devices is not subject to repair, except replacement of glow lamps.
The combination of devices includes the following functional knots.
Speedometer of 5 (fig. 7.56):
– range of indications – from 0 to 200 km/h;
– range of measurements – from 20 to 200 km/h.
The tachometer 2 shows the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft of the engine, works from system of ignition (a high-voltage entrance) and from the control unit of system of injection of fuel (a low-voltage entrance):
– range of indications – from 0 to 7000 min.-1;
– range of measurements – from 1000 to 7000 min.-1.
The showing device of 1 temperature of cooling liquid:
– range of indications is from 50 to 130 °C.
The showing fuel level device 6:
– range of indications is from 0 ("empty") to 1 ("full").
Digital indicator 19 of the general and daily run.
Digital indicator of the general run:
– resolution – 1 km;
– range of indications – from 0 to 999 999 km;
– at overflow the indication 999 999 remains;
– after interruption and the subsequent restoration of food of the indication of the passable way remain within 10 years, at the same time the indication of the value displayed until interruption changes no more than on ±1 km.
Digital indicator of a daily run:
– resolution – 0,1 km;
– range of indications – from 0,0 to 999,9 km;

The combination of devices has the test mode of the arrow showing devices.
The test mode provides the following: at inclusion of supply voltage on the ignition lock 15/1 plug (the ZO plug is switched on) shooters of the showing devices move from initial situation to the top value of range of indications and back, on digital indicators all segments are highlighted. After that shooters are established in the provisions corresponding to the measured values of entrance signals, and digital indicators show the current values of the corresponding parameters.

The combination is attached to the top part of the dashboard by means of screws 16 (see fig. 8.32). For removal of a combination of devices execute the following.
Disconnect a wire from the - plug of the rechargeable battery.
Remove the dashboard panel.
Unscrew fasteners of a combination of devices.
Take out on yourself a combination of devices from a seat and disconnect from it blocks of plaits.
Carry out installation of a combination of devices in the return sequence.
Check of correctness of indications of devices
It is necessary to carry out an inspection of serviceability of devices at an air temperature (20±5) °C, relative humidity of air from 45 to 80%, atmospheric pressure from 84 to 106,7 kPa (from 630 to 800 mm of mercury.) and supply voltage (13,5±5) B direct currents.
Check of the device of speed
An inspection of the device showing speed should be carried out by giving on a device entrance (contact "4" blocks of "X2") a signal with a frequency according to tab. 7.7.

When checking parameters of an entrance signal from which the showing speed device functions have to correspond to the values shown in fig. 7.58. The scheme of inclusion at test has to correspond to fig. 7.59.
In case of discrepancy of indications of an arrow of a speedometer to actual speeds of the movement of the car with the checked combination it is necessary to replace the speed sensor installed on the transmission speedometer drive.
To carry out an inspection of the digital indicator of the counter of the passable way as follows.
To disconnect supply voltage and to press the button 13 (see fig. 7.56). Holding the button in the pressed situation, to give supply voltage – at the same time all segments of the indicator (check of serviceability of segments) have to join. After an otpuskaniye of the button indications of the general and daily run have to join.
Check of the showing device of frequency of rotation of a bent shaft 
To carry out an inspection of the showing device of frequency of rotation of a bent shaft by giving on a high-voltage entrance of the showing device (contact "5th "X1") a signal with a frequency according to tab. 7.8.

With the specified frequencies of an arrow of the showing device of frequency of rotation of a bent shaft have to correspond to the turns specified in tab. 7.8 with the admission of ±100 min.-1. Parameters of entrance signals from which the showing rotation frequency device has to function have to correspond to the values shown in fig. 7.60. The shaper of the required impulses is shown in fig. 7.61.
Check of showing fuel level device
An inspection of the showing device of level of fuel should be carried out at the decreasing indicators (from full to empty). At tests the entrance of showing fuel level device (contact "6 X2") needs to be loaded with resistance according to tab. 7.9.

If after the described check on the car the device of level of fuel shows incorrect indications, then it is necessary to replace the fuel level sensor.
Check of the showing device of temperature of cooling liquid 
An inspection of the showing device of temperature of cooling liquid should be carried out at the increasing indications (from the cold engine to hot).
At tests the entrance of the showing device of temperature of cooling liquid (contact "9 X1") needs to be loaded with resistance according to tab. 7.10.

Check of indication of time
Check of installation of hours and minutes should be carried out only on functioning in the mode of indication of time by rotation of the button 13 (see fig. 7.56) and its deduction in this situation during not less than 300 ms.
Installation of hours.
At turn of the button towards a h symbol for a while:
1) to 2 with – the indication of hours has to increase by 1 h for every second;
2) from 2 to 4 with – the indication of hours has to increase by 2 h for every second;
3) more than 4 with – the indication of hours has to increase by 4 h for every second.
Installation of minutes.
At turn of the button of management towards a min symbol for a while:
1) to 2 with – the indication of minutes has to increase for 1 min. for every second;
2) from 2 to 4 with – the indication of minutes has to increase for 2 min. for every second;
3) more than 4 with – the indication of minutes has to increase for 4 min. for every second.
Time indicator in the mode of indication of time has to:
a) to keep indications after interruption and the subsequent restoration of tension on the 15/1 plug from the ignition lock;
b) after interruption and the subsequent restoration of supply voltage on the 30 plug to make dumping of indications, counting of time in this case continues from zero value.
Accuracy of indications of the indicator of time makes ±3 with for 24 h. Accuracy of the indicator is provided with a design and manufacturing techniques.
Verification of indications of the indicator of ambient temperature
Switching between indication of time and indication of ambient temperature in a combination of devices is carried out by pressing the button of a combination of devices and its keeping in the pressed state during time from 0,3 to 1,5 pages.
An inspection of accuracy of indications of the digital indicator of ambient temperature should be carried out, loading temperature indicator entrance (contact "1 X2") with resistance according to tab. 7.11.

Indications of the indicator of ambient temperature at preset values of resistance have to correspond specified in tab. 7.11.
After inclusion of ignition (giving on a combination of devices of supply voltage) the indicator has to be in the mode of indication of time.
In case at inclusion of ignition ambient temperature is equal or below 2 °C, the indicator has to show time throughout 3 from later inclusion of ignition, and then it has to switch to indications of temperature. At the same time during the first 10 from later switching of the indication of temperature have to blink (the warning of ice), and then to be constantly visible. Indication of warnings of ice (blinking) repeats after temperature increase of the environment to value not less than 5 °C and the subsequent decrease to 2 °C.
To carry out an inspection of the blinking indication at decrease in temperature by indicator entrance loading resistance corresponding 0 °C (9685 Ohms), and giving of supply voltage. After giving of tension the indicator has to show time during (3±1) with, and then it has to switch to indications of temperature. At the same time during the first 10+2 from later switching of the indication of temperature have to blink, and then to be constantly visible.
Verification of indications of the indicator of tension of onboard electric network of the car
Switchings between indication of ambient temperature and indication of tension of onboard electric network of the car in a combination of devices it is carried out by pressing the button of a combination of devices and its keeping in the pressed condition from 0,3 to 1,5 pages. Switching can be carried out at any time.
Indication of tension of onboard electric network of the car is carried out at a voltage from 8 to 16 V.
Accuracy of indications of the digital indicator in this mode has to correspond to the values specified in tab. 7.12.

At reduction of supply voltage lower than 10,8 In and increases the digital indicator of "time/temperature of surrounding Wednesday/tension of onboard network of the car" passes higher than 15 V into the mode of indication of tension, at the same time the first 10 from the indication of tension have to blink, and further to be constantly visible before malfunction elimination.
You carry out an inspection of accuracy of indications of tension of an onboard electric chain of the car by method of the control device.
To disconnect supply voltage from a combination of devices (the X1 socket, contacts "6", "7").
To connect the power supply for a task of entrance tension of a combination of devices for control of the digital indicator in the "tension of an onboard electric chain of the car" mode (the X1 socket, contact "7").
To connect the voltmeter on a power supply exit for control of entrance tension of a combination of devices.
Giving entrance tension on a combination of devices, according to tab. 7.12 to define changes of indications by comparison of indications of the digital indicator of a combination of devices and the voltmeter.
Sensor of ambient temperature
The sensor of ambient temperature is intended for determination of ambient temperature in which it is located. The sensor works complete with a combination of devices 346.3801.

The temperature sensitive element with negative temperature coefficient of resistance is a part of the sensor. The overall, adjusting and connecting dimensions of the sensor are shown in fig. 7.62.

The sensor in a forward part of the car on the right side on the special arm welded on a longeron (fig. 7.63) is installed. The sensor is calculated on operation at a temperature of air from-40 to +45 °C. Extreme values of temperature at which operability of the sensor, from-50 to +90 °C remains.

Check of correctness of operation of the sensor of temperature is defined, using the special electric circuit (fig. 7.64). On the sensor (thermoresistor) tension of U=3,2 B of ±1% through constant resistance of R=4420 Ohms of ±1% moves that it imitates about a combination of devices 346.3801010.
Test of the sensor (check of resistance in the range of working temperatures) is carried out by immersion of the sensor to the tank with silicone liquid of a certain temperature, after 3 min. endurance make measurement of tension of Ux. Thermal sensor resistance according to tab. 7.13 is determined by tension of Ux.

The sensor is serviceable if the measured indications correspond to temperatures specified in the table. In case of discrepancy the sensor should be replaced.
Car speed sensor

The sensor of speed of the car is intended for transformation of quantity of turns of a power shaft of 1 (fig. 7.65) of the sensor to quantity of the electric impulses proportional to the passable way of the car. To one turn of a shaft there corresponds 1 m of a way of the car.
The speed sensor by a navinchivaniye of its plastic case 4 a key of 22 mm on the transmission speedometer drive the moment of an inhaling of 6-8 N · m fastens.
At installation of the sensor of speed in the VAZ-21074 transmission the RYuIB sensor is used. 402139.001-02 with M18 carving. At installation of the sensor of speed in the Izh-2126 transmission the RYuIB sensor is used. 402139.001-05 with a connecting carving of M22.
The sensor has the three-wire electric circuit of connection. Contacts "+", "And",
"–", conditionally designated "1", "2", "3", are marked on the case by a convex font. The rated voltage of food is 12 V of a direct current.
In the working range of frequencies of rotation of a power shaft from (30±1) min.-1 to (3300±100) min.-1 at a temperature of air (25±10) °C, supply voltage on a chain of contact "1" (13,5±0,2) B, supply voltage on a chain of contact "2" (5,0±0,2) B, at resistance of load of 1 kOhm and total capacity of loading no more than 200 пФ the sensor of speed has to have the following parameters of impulses of an output signal (see fig. 7.58): the output tension of the low Uol level no more than 0,4 In; output current of the high Ioh= (Ucc-Uoh)/R1 level no more than 30 mk; duration of time of increase of Tr or time of recession of a signal of Tf no more than 10 microsec and coefficient of filling of Q= (Td/T) h100 (50±20) %.
The simplest check of the sensor on the car can be carried out at rotation of a shaft of the sensor and connection of contact "3" plaits on the case, contact "1" to the + plug of the rechargeable battery, and between contact "2" and the + plug of the rechargeable battery to connect consistently connected the MLT resistor – 0,25 kOhm of ±5% and a light-emitting diode of AL307BM. Absence or a constant luminescence of a light-emitting diode at a motionless shaft and a faltering luminescence of a light-emitting diode at rotation of a shaft testify to operability of the sensor.
The sensor belongs to unattended and nonrestorable products, is not subject to repair.
Sensor of the index of level of fuel

The sensor of the index of level of fuel is in the fuel tank and fastens to a petrolintaking tube (fig. 7.66). The sensor has the variable resistor from a nikhromovy wire. The mobile contact of the resistor is run by the lever with a float. At a full tank the float is in situation "P". Nominal resistance at the same time is equal 7 Ohms. At 1/2 fillings of a tank resistance is equal 118 Ohms, at an empty tank resistance in a tank – 330 Ohms. On the lever of a float there is a mobile contact including a control lamp of a reserve of fuel if in a tank there were 5,38 l of gasoline.
Sensor of temperature of cooling liquid
The sensor of temperature of TM-106 cooling liquid on engines of fashion. 331 it is established in an inlet branch pipe of a water shirt of the engine on the left side. On engines of fashion. VAZ-2106 the TM-106 sensor is screwed in a head of the block of cylinders on the left side of the engine. You carry out an inspection of the TM-106 sensor according to the parameters specified in tab. 7.14.

Sensor of a control lamp of insufficient pressure of oil
MM-111D sensor of the engine of fashion. 331 will screw in an arm of the full-line filter located on the right side of a forward part of the engine.
Contacts of the sensor have to be disconnected and become isolated in the range of pressure of 40-80 kPa (0,4–0,8 kg/cm2). The sensor has to maintain elevated pressure to 2,5+0,5 MPas (25+5 kg/cm2) without emergence of mechanical damages and violation of tightness.
MM-120 sensor of the engine of fashion. 2106 it is established on the block of cylinders on the left side of the engine. Contacts of the sensor have to be disconnected and become isolated in the range of pressure of 20-60 kPa (0,2–0,6 kg/cm2). The sensor is not subject to repair.
Additional signal of braking
The additional signal of braking is entered into the Izh-21261 car design for satisfaction of requirements of UNECE Regulations No. 48-01, has glass of red color. The additional signal of braking synchronously with the basic works when actuating a working brake.

The additional signal of braking on back glass (fig. 7.67) at a temperature of external air not below +10 °C is mounted. In a zone of installation of an additional signal of braking the surface of glass should be degreased isopropyl alcohol or similar solvent. Heat the Privalochny surface of an additional signal of braking covered with an adhesive tape within 15 min. at a temperature of 50-60 °C. Remove a protective film from an adhesive tape, establish an additional signal of braking on glass and densely press hands.
Service of an additional signal of braking comes down to replacement of the failed lamp of A12-5-2 (all lamps 5).
