Electric equipment of the car is executed according to the single-wire scheme – negative conclusions of sources and consumers of the electric power are connected to "weight" (body) which performs function of the second wire. Schemes of electric equipment of the Izh-21261 car are submitted in fig. 7.1a and 7.1b.

The majority of electrochains join the switch of ignition and are protected by fuses. All safety locks and auxiliary relays are mounted in the assembly block (fig. 7.2) established in podkapotny space on the left side. All wires from back, forward plaits, plaits of the dashboard and a screen wiper approach the assembly block and are switched in it according to the scheme in fig. 7.3.
Always there are included (irrespective of the provision of a key in the ignition switch) power-supply circuits of a sound signal, a plafond, a stoplight, the lighter, the alarm system and the socket of a portable lamp.
The following chains are not protected by fuses:
charging of the rechargeable battery;
ignition and launch of the engine;
controls of the electromagnetic valve of the economizer of compulsory idling (ECI).
Before replacing the fused safety lock, it is necessary to find out the reason of its combustion and to eliminate it.
By troubleshooting see the chains specified in tab. 7.1 which are protected by this safety lock. On a reverse side of a cover of the assembly block numbers of safety locks specified in the table are put.
On the scheme color of wires is designated by letters (tab. 7.2), designations of devices of electric equipment are given by figures.
Sh4 block on the assembly block has a tag of red color.

Connecting blocks of Sh1, Sh2, ShZ, Sh4, Sh10 unite dashboard plait wires; blocks of Sh5, Sh6, Sh7, Sh8 – a forward plait; Sh9 – a back plait; Sh11 – a screen wiper plait. Conditional numbers of plugs in connecting blocks of the assembly block and color of wires are specified fig. 7.4 and 7.5.
Repair the assembly block, replacing printed circuit boards. The pripayka of wires instead of the fused current carrying paths on printed circuit boards is allowed if only for this purpose it is not required to separate printed circuit boards.

       PREVENTION
When checking serviceability of the scheme of electric equipment of the car it is impossible to close on "mass" of a wire as it can lead to burn-out of current carrying paths of the assembly block.

Disassemble the assembly block for replacement or repair of printed circuit boards in the following order:
1. Uncover and take out from nests of the assembly block of the relay, a crossing point and safety locks.
2. Unscrew screws of fastening and remove the top half of the case of the assembly block.
3. Take out the block of printed circuit boards from the lower half of the case.
Collect the assembly block upside-down.
